Taking
a test for English proficiency? TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
could be one of your options. It is a
widely accepted test in over 9000 universities in most of the English speaking
countries. Apart from educational point of view TOEFL is also used by
Immigration department to issue residential or work visas, and Medical and
licensing agencies use them to license professionals.
TOEFL
iBT (internet based test) is the commonly used test, there is also TOEFL PBT
(paper based test). However, most universities prefer Internet based test as it
goes in line with the present trends.
Internet
based test is divided into 4 section- Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing
with varying time limits. Each section has a set of questions varying with the
